at best buy

at best buy

today, at best buy (and no, there weren't any h2s in the lot) we eyed this 9yr old (or 10 or 12) playing this ultra violent shooting game on the xbox 360. that wasn't the scary part- it was that she was doing very well with her machine gun while seemingly not paying too much attention.

And yet people act shocked when our youths beat and kill homeless people (whom our current regime treat as non-people--kinda like those human targets found in a video game) in Florida...

Chilling.

Please, that is a tired and oversimplified excuse that violence on TV and violent video games are creating these monstrous children. How about the parents? I have a teenage son and he plays some violent video games and guess what, he is not a discipline problem, he does not ask for a gun for Christmas and I have yet to find a hit-list hidden in his pockets or backpack.

Point a finger in the right direction, the parents.

Mr. viddy - please take my post with a grain of salt. it was meant tongue and cheek! i agree - parents are the issue. i'm child free for a reason. i'm scared of what i would produce.

i just thought it was hilarious that a little girl was kicken' ass when the monitor was 2 feet above her head and she was not really paying attention.

No worries brett, I should have made it clear that my comment was aimed at matt royale howl.

What was creepy to me was the realism of the video game. That little girl was shooting virtual soldiers point blank right in the chest, blood & guts flying everywhere. It was so weird!
